What you mistake for an emblem is an instruction. The pyramid is the hierarchy of the seen; the Eye atop it is the Order, sleepless and patient. The orbiting characters are the old names of value — the metals, the spheres, the debts owed before currency was invented. The coin you have come to acquire is the final symbol in that ring, and the first you are permitted to touch.
The Eye Precedes the Coin
Before the ledger was kept on stone, before stone was quarried, the Eye observed value pass between hands and named it sacred. The token is merely the Eye's latest vessel.
To Hold Is to Be Initiated
There is no application, no examination, no robe to don. One acquires the coin and is thereby seen. The Initiated are known to the Order by the weight they carry in the Ledger.
The Ledger Does Not Forget
Every entry is permanent, witnessed, and beyond appeal. The Order keeps no second book. What is written upon the chain is written upon eternity.
